Directions:

The centre is located at the north-west end the town - close to Asda, MFI and Stollers Furniture World.

If you use either of the web-based map sites for directions (multimap.com - streetmap.co.uk - mapblast.com) each are inaccurate on their overviews. Wilkie Road runs from Walney Road (A590) to the junction with Holker Street, then it name changes to Devonshire Road. Bluebirds Study Centre actually locates mid-way along Wilkie Road to Holker Street.

By Road:

Follow the main A590 trunk road into Barrow, passing the industrial units on the way in. On the right, you pass Kimberley Clark soft tissue factory. Continuing on another mile or so, the road starts to rise to pass over the railway line, on your right is a part-landscaped 'slag-bank' - a legacy of the bygone days when Barrow had a thriving Steel industry. On dropping down, Brady's Road Haulage and Warehousing is on your left, with the Fire Station on your right. Bluebirds Study Centre is now to your left along with Holker Street Stadium, with Asda, MFI and Stollers 100 metres further on.

By Rail:

The floodlights of Holker Street Stadium are visible from the Station and is an approximate 5-10 minute walk. After leaving the station up Station Approach, turn right onto Holker Street. Continue up this road until you get to the ground.
